Americas & Americas, Inc. September 11th Commemorative Flag is Catching On

MIAMI, June 10, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- What began as a 9.11 fundraiser has exploded into full-time work. Robert Real, President of Americas & Americas, Inc., and his wife Lorraine, a public school teacher, designed a 9.11 commemorative flag to be used as a fundraiser and to build awareness of this tragic day.

This flag instantly generated a positive response from local fire and police departments, and their families and friends. Flags On Cars was established as a division of Americas & Americas Inc., and began marketing this custom flag. The flag is based on the colors and stripes of our National flag with the New York skyline/WTC depicted in the blue field.

After consulting with lawyers and the U.S. Patent office, Flags On Cars decided to seek a patent for this commemorative flag logo. After one month of selling the 9.11 commemorative flag, Flags On Cars was able to donate $10,000 to The United Way September 11th Fund.

"All Americans have been affected in some way or another by this tragic event, and this commemorative flag is one way to show support and awareness," said Robert Real.

Most of Americas & Americas, Inc. sales are made from customers logging onto the www.flagsoncars.com website and from calls direct to the warehouse, from as far away as Russia and Australia.

Since the introduction of the 9.11 flag, Flags On Cars has expanded its offerings to include other 9.11 products. A complete product list is available online at www.flagsoncars.com. Mr. and Mrs. Real are very pleased with the support and positive response they have received from the public, firefighters and police departments across America.

"We will continue to support and make donations to this worthy cause so that this tragic event will never be forgotten," said Robert Real.
