Vodafone Sweden Signs Sales Cooperation Agreement with Leading Finnish Mobile Operator Radiolinja

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 13, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Vodafone Sweden and Radiolinja, the Finnish mobile operator, have today signed a co-operation agreement focused on sales and marketing to large business customers in Sweden and Finland. The agreement follows the Partner Agreement between Vodafone Group and Radiolinja signed in February.

"Demand for joint mobile telecom services is increasing as companies in the Nordic area are moving towards stronger Nordic organisation models," said Jon Risfelt, President and CEO of Vodafone Sweden. "Together with Radiolinja we are able to offer mobile solutions in a more co-ordinated way for our customers with operations both in Finland and Sweden," he concluded.

"This sales co-operation will strengthen both Radiolinja's and Vodafone Sweden's positions in the Nordic market and we are pleased to start working actively with Vodafone Sweden," said Jouko Lintunen, Senior Vice President of Radiolinja.
