STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 19, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- The IT and management consultancy, HiQ, has signed a framework agreement with Vagverket Produktion. Under the agreement, HiQ will offer IT consulting services, such as strategic advice and project management.
Vagverket Produktion is active in the road building and construction markets and offers overall solutions for operation, service, maintenance and construction.
In the spring, Sverigelagret, a unit within Vagverket Produktion, decided to start a project for the launch of internal e-commerce and the digitalisation of its product catalogue. Within the framework of the agreement, HiQ will run the entire project from start to launch.
"HiQ will have overall responsibility for the project and will work with such things as requirement specifications, procurement support, integration with a back-end system and acceptance tests," said Patrik Boman, Managing Director of HiQ Stockholm.
Launch of the service is planned for the end of 2002.

From HiQ's perspective, companies in this sector have many things in common with the telecoms sector.
