STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 25, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Europolitan Vodafone AB today announced the results of the AGM.
Election of Directors
At the Annual General Meeting of Europolitan Holdings AB (publ) held on Tuesday June 25 2002, it was decided to re-elect Messrs Peter Bamford, Devin Brougham, Stefan Elving, Tim Harrabin, Ulf J. Johansson and Ulf Spendrup and to elect Pauline Best and Edward Langston as directors. It was also decided to re-elect Jon Risfelt and David Smithwhite as alternate members.
Pauline Best is Human Resources Director for Vodafone's North Europe, Middle East and African Region and Edward Langston is Financial Director (CFO) for the same region.
Approval of dividend proposal
In accordance with the Board of Directors' proposal it was decided by the shareholders meeting not to pay a dividend for the 2001/2002 financial year.
Resolution to amend the articles of association regarding company name
The shareholders meeting adopted a resolution amending the company nameto Europolitan Vodafone AB and # 1 of the Articles of Association to thefollowing wording: "The company name is Europolitan Vodafone AB. Thecompany is public (publ)."
