The increase in production from the Norwegian shelf compared with February is due to new production wells coming onstream at the Jotun field.
Total production in Yemen in March was slightly lower than in February because of various well interventions at both fields. A new production well now being drilled in the Tasour field, is scheduled to come onstream in about a month.
Production from the UK shelf declined somewhat compared with February because of work in some of the wells at the Thistle field.
The development in the production of the DNO Group in 2003 has exceeded expectations, and the company is very satisfied with a total average oil production of over 29,000 barrels per day for the first quarter.
