The target to cut 50 man-years through changes in some business unit structures was achieved. As a result of the proceedings, 15 employees will be given notice at Vaisala's office in Vantaa, Finland. Cuts in man-years and structural changes enable Vaisala to achieve an improvement of some EUR 4 million in the Group's result. The effect of the measures will be seen only in 2004.
