In May 2003, the number of passengers decreased by 4.1% in Copenhagen Airport


COPENHAGEN, Denmark, June 10, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- For May 2003, the total number of passengers in Copenhagen Airport shows a decrease of 4.1% compared to May 2002.

International passengers in CPH

The number of international scheduled passengers decreased by 3.4% while the number of international charter passengers decreased by 5.2%. Consequently, the total number of international passengers decreased by 4.1%.

Domestic passengers in CPH

The total number of domestic passengers shows a decrease of 9.1% compared to 2002.

Operations and take-off weight in CPH In May 2003, the total number of take-offs and landings has decreased by 0.8%, while the tonnage shows a decrease of 3.5%.

In May 2003, the number of travellers from Copenhagen to Asia continued to be negatively affected by the lung disease SARS.
