Arnout van Rijn appointed fund manager of Rolinco

Arnout van Rijn will take over as fund manager of Rolinco as of 1 September. He succeeds Mark Glazener, who will assume responsibility for the fund Robeco as of that date.

Arnout van Rijn: "I am highly motivated to realize good results for our shareholders. My 12 years' experience of investing in emerging markets, the Far East, America and Europe have been an excellent preparation for accepting this challenge. Moreover, the outlook at present for the growth stocks in which Rolinco invests is very promising right now."

Currently Van Rijn is fund manager of Robeco America. Prior to this he worked for Robeco for several years in Hong Kong and was also the fund manager of Robeco Emerging Markets.

Both Rolinco and Van Rijn were born in 1965. Rolinco currently has assets under management of EUR 1.3 billion.  The fund invests internationally in companies with prospects for accelerated growth.

It is also intended that Van Rijn be appointed director of Rolinco. This appointment will be proposed to an extraordinary shareholders' meeting to be held on 25 August, and is subject to the approval of Dutch financial markets regulator AFM.
