The course covers the basics of insurance, how insurance is regulated, how financial performance of insurers is measured, claims, insurance contracts, property loss exposures, policy provisions and more. Upon completion of all three courses in the program, graduates receive a Certificate in General Insurance.
This program is nationally recognized as an essential part of the education and professional development of insurance professionals. This program is not required for technology vendors, and is completed by very few.
