The Nokia 3105 Shines With Confidence & Style

Bangkok, Thailand - Nokia introduced today a new compact-sized CDMA 1X phone designed to meet the mobile communications needs of consumers in Asia Pacific. Personalisation is key in this phone aimed at those who enjoy expressing their individuality and being connected with friends and family. Flaunting a trendy U-shaped glow-in-the-dark design with high resolution colour display and vibrant Xpress-onTM colour covers, the Nokia 3105 offers Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS*) functionality, WAP 2.0 browser**, integrated handsfree speaker, JavaTM games and a selection of polyphonic ringtones (MIDI), wallpapers and animated screensavers. Making its debut at a regional event held in Bangkok, the Nokia 3105, powered by Nokia's own CDMA2000 1X chipset, operates on CDMA 800 networks and is expected to be commercially available in Asia Pacific markets during the fourth quarter of 2003.

Making it easy for consumers to spontaneously capture moments and experiences and sharing them with friends and family, the Nokia 3105 can be used with a Nokia Fun Camera, a stand-alone VGA camera with its own viewfinder, flash and power supply. With 1 MB of memory, the Nokia Fun Camera can store up to 50 images and can be attached to compatible Nokia handsets with a Pop-PortTM connector. With Pop-Port connectivity, users of the Nokia 3105 are able to add an exciting array of enhancements, including the Nokia FM Radio Headset. This combination stereo FM radio with display and headset offers audio, plugs into the phone and simply clips onto a lapel or slips into a shirt pocket.
