COSTA MESA, Calif., Sept. 17, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Emulex Corporation (NYSE:ELX), the world's leading supplier of storage networking host bus adapters (HBAs), announced today that LEGATO Systems, Inc. has qualified the Emulex LightPulse dual channel LP9802DC, LP9802 and LP982 PCI-X HBAs for use with LEGATO NetWorker(r). LEGATO's qualification of Emulex's HBAs with its NetWorker world-class data protection solution ensures that customers experience seamless operation of the two companies' products in Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003 environments.
