Nokia Snowboard FIS World Cup starts 2003/2004 season


The Sixth Nokia Snowboard FIS World Cup started in Valle Nevado, Chile on September 12-14, and continues in Europe with the next event in Sölden, Austria on October 18-19.  Visiting the United States next spring, and 11 other countries on four continents throughout the season, the World Cup will finish on March 14, 2004 in Turin, Italy.
 
The Nokia Snowboard FIS World Cup includes the disciplines of Halfpipe, Snowboard Cross, Parallel Slalom, Parallel Giant Slalom and Big Air. The World Cup will also provide an opportunity for huge audiences to follow the Big Air competitions in three European cities.

"Now we have selected the Nokia Rider Team members for the 2003/2004 season and continue to sponsor a dynamic, young, athletic and international team. Nokia Riders in 2003/2004 are Jukka Erätuli (FIN), Antti Autti (FIN), Jasey Jay Anderson (CAN), Mathieu Bozzetto (FRA), Doris Guenther (AUT), Therry Brunner (SUI), Dejan Kosir (SLO) and Jagna Marczulajtis (POL).
 
Nokia has a sponsorship agreement with Nokia Snowboard FIS World Cup until the year 2006.
