STOCKHOLM, Oct. 10, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Staffan Persson appointed new acting CEO of NeoNet (Stockholm:NEO):
Torkel Segerstedt will with immediate effect leave his position as acting CEO of NeoNet. Segerstedt who was appointed acting CEO Monday 6th October leaves his position for personal reasons.
Torkel Segerstedt has also announced that he will leave his position as a member of the Board of Directors of NeoNet.
"I am sorry for this development but during the past days I have concluded that it is for personal reasons not possible for me to uphold such a demanding position as CEO of a listed company," said Torkel Segerstedt. "In this context it is also natural for me to leave my position as a member of the Board."
New acting CEO of NeoNet is Staffan Persson, who at the same time leaves his position as chairman of the Board of Directors of NeoNet. New chairman of the Board is Hans Karlsson, member of the Board of NeoNet since 1996.
"It is unfortunate that Torkel Segerstedt has decided to leave his position, but I have respect for the personal reasons he has submitted," said Staffan Persson. "My mission will now be to lead NeoNet until we have recruited a new CEO of NeoNet"
