Group Executive Vice President Preben Tolstrup has decided to resign from his post by the end of this year.
Preben Tolstrup, 44, BSc (Engineering), came to the FLS Group in February 2001 as President and CEO of FLS miljø, and joined the Corporate Management on 1 September 2002. In addition to closing down the activities in FLS miljø, he has implemented a number of divestments of the Group's non-core activities in the F.L.Smidth Group and FLS Building Materials.
As assumed in the strategic plan from August 2002, the disposal of the Group's non-core activities will essentially be completed by the end of this year. Viewed against this background, Preben Tolstrup has decided to resign from his post to seek new challenges outside the FLS Group.
As of 1 January 2004, the Corporate Management will comprise Group CEO Jørgen Huno Rasmussen, Group CFO Poul Erik Tofte, CEO Frank Gad, F.L.Smidth Group, and Group Executive Vice President Bjarne Moltke Hansen, FLS Building Materials.
