Feintool, a Group based in Lyss (Berne, Switzerland) which operates globally in the systems engineering and components business, is amalgamating its US operations into a single operational division and putting it under new management. As of 1 March 2004, Ralph E. Hardt (43) will become the new President of the Feintool US-Operations division and, at the same time, a member of Group Management. His most recent position was President and CEO of Oberg Industries, where he worked for 10 years. Richard Surico will become Chairman.
Feintool also wishes to announce that as part of the division's restructuring programme, Johannes Schmid, head of Feintool Automation, will be leaving the company by mutual consent at the end of July 2004.
