These price reductions make Telenor Mobil's pre-paid service both cheaper and simpler. Now there are just two price variations on text messages: NOK 0.79 for all prepaid customers (RingKontant and djuice Kontant) and NOK 0.69 for all other regular customers.
"We will constantly offer our customers competitive prices and tariff plans that are easy to understand. The SMS prices have recently been descending in the market and we therefore found it natural to lower our prices now," said Managing Director Telenor Norge, Morten Karlsen Sørby.
Customers who replenish their prepaid (RingKontant) and djuice prepaid (djuice Kontant) cards via SMS, will in addition gain 15 per cent more airtime and more text messages free of charge. "Telenor Mobil has Norway's best mobile network with the widest coverage. We offer high quality of service with 24-hour customer care. By lowering the SMS price to NOK 0.79 we believe that we are offering one of the absolute best pre-paid services in the market," said Morten Karlsen Sørby.
