STOCKHOLM, Sweden, March 30, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Powerwave's offer to the shareholders of LGP Allgon and revised date of LGP Allgon's AGM 2004
LGP Allgon has been informed that Powerwave has convened a Special Meeting of its shareholders to be held on April 27, 2004. At the Special Meeting, resolutions will be adopted regarding the measures necessary to complete Powerwave's offer to LGP Allgon's shareholders.
Prospectus and other registration statements in respect of the offer have been prepared in Swedish and in English and are expected to be distributed to LGP Allgon's shareholders during the next few days. The acceptance period will run from April 2, 2004 to April 30, 2004, whereafter the combination is expected to be completed.
As a consequence of the above, LGP Allgon's Annual General Meeting 2004 will be held on June 10, 2004, instead of May 3, 2004 as previously communicated.
