New head of division at Feintool


Norbert Müller, 49, is a qualified mechanical engineer (dipl. Masch.-Ing. HTL). He succeeds Johannes Schmid, who recently left Feintool. Mr Müller has many years of management experience acquired during a career with the Sulzer Group, Slumberland Group and most recently as the managing director of Fotolabo Professional Imaging. He will take up his post with Feintool on 1 October 2004. Until then Thomas Grichting, head of the Plastic/Metal Components Division, will manage the Automation Division on an ad interim basis.
 
Feintool Automation, which comprises the Feintool Automation Systems, Afag Automation Components and Baltec Fastening Systems business units, is a leading supplier of assembly automation solutions. With the choice of Norbert Müller, a very prominent manager is being appointed to a key position in the Feintool Group.
