Scheffers will be proposed as new member of the Supervisory Board of Wolters Kluwer nv.The Supervisory Board recommends appointing Mr. H. Scheffers as new member of the Supervisory Board of Wolters Kluwer nv, at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders which will be held on April 21, 2004. The Supervisory Board makes the recommendation to appoint Mr. Scheffers in view of his broad international general management experience, and especially his financial and economic knowledge. Mr. Scheffers (1948, Dutch) is a member of the Management Board of SHV Holdings nv, where his primary responsibilities include finance and economic affairs, legal and tax affairs and information technology. Mr. H. Scheffers is a member of the Supervisory Board of NPM Capital nv.
