On behalf of Ahold, it is my pleasure to invite you to a press conference to be held on Monday, April 19, 2004, at corporate headquarters, Albert Heijnweg 1 in Zaandam. The press conference will start at 10:00 a.m. with doors opening at 9:00 a.m. The press conference will review Ahold's 2003 full-year results. The presentations to be given at the press conference and the question and answer session will relate to this subject only.
Media representatives will have the opportunity to take photographs of Corporate Executive Board members during a period of 5 to 10 minutes immediately preceding the press conference. We would like to emphasize that in order to ensure an orderly process no photographs may be taken once the meeting has started. We kindly request you to communicate this to your photo desk.
Vehicles with satellite dishes will have access to Ahold's premises but are required to leave the premises no later than 1:15 p.m. During the press conference no live reports will be permitted.
Radio journalists and wire services will have access to dedicated phone lines to transfer their reports. A special press center will be available for this purpose until 12:30 p.m.
