APPOINTMENTS IN SAMPO GROUP
Sampo plc's Board of Directors has appointed Sampo plc's Executive Vice President, Mika Ihamuotila, as President and Head of Banking.
The Board has also appointed Ilkka Hallavo, who continues as Managing Director of Sampo Bank plc, as Executive Vice President in Sampo Group. Hallavo reports to Ihamuotila.
Sampo plc's Board has also decided that Sampo Group will publish its Interim Report for January-June on 16 August 2004 instead of 12 August 2004 as previously announced.
