DXP Appoints New Vice President of Supply Chain Management


HOUSTON, Aug. 24, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- DXP Enterprises, Inc. (Nasdaq:DXPE) today announced that Vincent Esposito has been appointed Vice President of Supply Chain Management and will immediately assume the management responsibilities of DXP's supply chain. Mr. Esposito will report to David Vinson Sr., Senior Vice President of Operations.

Mr. Esposito joins DXP with more than 25 years of experience in supply chain management. He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Bellarmine College and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Connecticut.

During his previous position as Director of Distribution for Safety-Kleen Mr. Esposito ran the distribution and waste disposal operations of an $850 million division consisting of three distribution centers, nine accumulation centers and associated fleets servicing 96 branch locations. Mr. Esposito's career experience includes management roles at Cooper Industries, General Electric, Tyco International and three years as Principal of supply chain management at Tompkins Associates.
