Personal Portals Online Inc. Announces $5M-Plus Contract With Universal Marketing


ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 6, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Personal Portals Online Inc. (Pink Sheets:PPON), the leader in dynamic do-it-yourself Website and commercial portal development tools, today announced it signed a software licensing and services agreement with Las Vegas-based Universal Marketing & Management Inc. valued at $5 million over the next 12 months. The agreement additionally provides for annual rollovers up to five years with increases, upon initial fulfillment.

Under the agreement, Personal Portals Online will provide Universal with a private label reselling system known as www.custombizwebsites.com, which delivers a dynamically bundled product offering to new businesses that includes; custom designed website, domain name, e-mail, e-commerce store, credit card/check processing and hosting services in a simple, easy-to-use package. The targeted markets will initially be newly established businesses/corporations and the home-based business segment, which require a competitive "turnkey e-business solution" without the high costs associated with creating, developing and managing technology.
