Espoo, Finland - Nokia today announced that Telenor, the leading mobile telecoms operator in Norway, running operations in Malaysia, Bangladesh, Thailand, Russia, and all over Europe, has selected the Nokia 6630 smartphone for its 3G WCDMA product portfolio in Norway. The Nokia 6630 phone offers online e-mail, the possibility to download and view e-mail attachments, mobile broadband access to multimedia content, live video streaming and video conferencing.

"We congratulate Telenor for Norway's first commercial 3G network launch, and are delighted that Telenor have chosen Nokia as their first 3G handset partner in this dynamic, leading market for imaging services.
