The WGL to Distribute Discount Memberships to the Golf Industry

ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 6, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- The World Golf League, Inc. (OTCBB:WGFL) announced today that it has reached an agreement with Upwon, LLC to distribute up to 500,000 WGL discount memberships through public and semi-private golf courses throughout the country. This will represent over 7,500 golf courses with access to 18 million golfers. When a membership is redeemed by the golfer, the golf course will receive $15.00 while the member pays the WGL $65.00.

"This is a modification to the wholesale channel that will allow the public golfer continued access to WGL events", said Mike Pagnano, CEO The WGL, Inc. "The public golf population in the United States exceeds 27 million with only a small portion of them having access to our wholesale channels. We certainly do not want to exclude those who want to enjoy the Play for Pay concept in 2005."

The WGL markets a professional golf concept in the USA and 27 international venues, which allow average golfers to play for substantial prize money in local and regional tournaments culminating with a PGA-style national event and world championship.
