BALTIMORE, Dec. 16, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- View Systems (OTCBB:VYST) announced today that the newest model of the Visual First Responder (VFR) has performance benefits and manufacturing changes, which add to the systems value.
"The new model VFR is much more powerful than the previous version," says Views Product Manager, David Johansen. "The handheld unit is now about 50% quicker to build and nearly 30% less expensive to procure parts for than it was when we first acquired the product". The VFR is becoming a better product through cooperation and a close working relationship with the VFR inventor Kevin Young of the Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory. Young states, "The VFR or HazMat Cam as it was originally know is becoming the product that I always knew it would become with the right company commercializing it."This is the first of several milestones that View will achieve with the VFR. "Our further development will result in a more comprehensive system driven by customer expressed application needs. We have several vital service organizations targeted with the new version that will produce increased revenue. Professional first responders in additional markets such as Fire Departments and Civil Support Teams for building disasters, and their dealers, are definitely reacting positively," states Dave Johansen of View Systems.
