Lightning, Ladyfingers and the Outhouse -- A Hilarious New Book from God's Personal Comedian

DUCK, N.C., Dec. 16, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- It is no secret that God selects certain people for certain jobs. Dr.Paul Daniell, a retired United Methodist minister, has no qualms with that per-se, but he does with the fact that some of the selections have more humiliation attached to them than others. In his wildly humorous new book, Lightning, Ladyfingers and the Outhouse, he tells his true-life story of being called to the ministry by God, in order that God and His Heavenly Hosts might be amused.

Adam and Eve got the whole thing started. Noah and his family started it a second time after God wiped it out; Abram led the chosen people; Moses delivered them from captivity; David ruled them; Prophets warned them. These were all followed by John the Baptist, Mary and Joseph.

Later on he called Daniell who was going to be in a slightly different league from the ones just mentioned. "Those guys were taken seriously, I was not," Daniell complains. God's recruitment of me was done tongue-in-cheek. I am convinced that just before he pushed the clouds aside, he turned to his admirers and whispered, 'Watch, this one ought to be a lot of fun!'."

Today's world has many problems. There is a time to laugh and time to cry. Lightning, Ladyfingers and the Outhouse is the perfect book to bring out the laughter. Directly from the comedian who entertained God and his archangels . . . this book is sure to be a hit!
