NetMusic Announces Video-On-Demand Service in Q1 05

SEATTLE, Dec. 20, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- NetMusic Entertainment Corporation (Pink Sheets:NTMT), a comprehensive worldwide network of digital media, today announced that it will launch a Video-on-Demand service debuting New Year' s Eve, December 31st, 2004.

"This is quite a New Year's Eve celebration for us," said Glen Starchman, CEO of NetMusic. "As we enter the colder months, our consumers can now skip the trip to the mall or the hassle of mail-order DVDs, and enjoy great videos with the click of a button."

The service will include access to a wide array of music videos and feature length films by mainstream and cutting edge independent artists.

Visitors to NetMusic.com can essentially "rent" a movie without leaving the comfort of their home, or dealing with the burden of returning a DVD of VHS tape. With the new service, viewers will no longer have to watch movies at pre-set times as with standard pay-per-view. Films and music videos will be available for multiple views and controllable -- with rewind, fast forward and pause capabilities -- throughout the rental period.

The technology used for the company's Video-On-Demand offerings will also enable broadcast of concerts, sports games and other live events, including those filmed in High Definition.
