Aker Kvaerner to install risers at the Sleipner Riser platform


The scope of work will be executed by the subsidiary Aker Marine Contractors and includes engineering, transport and installation of two connected risers at the Sleipner Riser Platform in the North Sea. The engineering will start immediately and offshore transportation and installation will be performed in June 2005. The risers are under fabrication at Vetco Aible in Haugesund.

Aker Marine Contractors AS (AMC) is part of Aker Kværner ASA. AMC has full access to Aker Kvaerner's deepwater technology, engineering and fabrication capacity.
