Jari Lind, Engineer, (b. 1958), has today been appointed as the Managing Director of Rautakesko Ltd, a Kesko Corporation subsidiary, as from 1 March 2005. At present, he acts as Vice President for the K-rauta chain.
Kesko Machinery Ltd's Managing Director Pekka Lahti, M.Sc. (Agr.), (b. 1955), has been appointed as the Managing Director of VV-Auto Oy, a Kesko Corporation subsidiary. He will act as the Managing Director of Kesko Agro Ltd for the period 1 March 2005 to 31 January 2006. He will also continue as the Managing Director of Kesko Machinery Ltd. VV-Auto Oy's current Managing Director Erkki Sillantaka will retire on 31 January 2006 at the age of 60.
In September 2004, Kesko Corporation's Board of Directors appointed Rautakesko Ltd's and Kesko Agro Ltd's current Managing Director Matti Halmesmäki, M.Sc. (Econ.), LL.M., (b. 1952), as Kesko Corporation's Managing Director and the Kesko Group's President and Chief Executive Officer as from 1 March 2005.
