Hooper worked as a legal secretary and assistant for 23 years. She is also well known on the Connecticut craft circuit for her unique creations. With her mystery series, Hooper seeks to "open a few eyes" to the homosexual community without "ruffling a lot of feathers." Another Day, Another Murder is the third book. The series' premier novel, Belle Harbor Skeletons, was recently selected for the Wickham Library reading group, which is comprised of senior citizens.
