The municipality of Sittard-Geleen has awarded Heijmans a contract for the project "Construction of the Western Ring Road, adjustment to Rijkswegboulevard, and sunken construction of Middenweg (including two viaducts)". This project is worth EUR 20 million and is to be completed by 1 January 2007.
Heijmans has been awarded a contract for the design and construction of a pressure sewer system in the outlying area of the municipality of Asten. This project involves connecting 730 buildings in the outlying area of the municipality to the sewer system and maintaining the entire sewer system for a period of 15 years. The contract value of the project is approximately EUR 4 million.
In the Eindhoven area Heijmans will carry out maintenance for the Department of Public Works involving the supply and construction of 56,000 tons of asphalt. This contract is valued at nearly EUR 5 million and includes a 7-year guarantee on functional requirements on surface roughness, flatness, and wear and tear.
