COSTA MESA, Calif., Feb. 14, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Emulex Corporation (NYSE:ELX), the industry's preeminent source for a broad range of advanced storage networking infrastructure solutions, today announced that HP has qualified the Emulex LP1050Ex PCI Express Fibre Channel HBAs (HP# A7560A) as a supported connectivity solution for use with HP's ProLiant servers outfitted with the latest PCI Express technology. The qualification ensures the two companies' products operate seamlessly to provide optimal server and storage solutions that support and complement the PCI Express architecture.
