ATLANTA, Feb. 16, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- The March of Dimes Georgia Chapter has named Deloitte Tax LLP executive Susan Boltacz as Downtown Atlanta WalkAmerica Chair. The annual event raises funds to support the March of Dimes efforts to save babies from premature birth. Downtown Atlanta's WalkAmerica will be held Saturday, April 30, 2005 at Centennial Olympic Park.

As chair, Boltacz will oversee revenue development, sponsorship, team recruitment, promotion and logistics for the event, which is expected to attract nearly 8,000 walkers throughout metro Atlanta.

"I'm honored to be the chair for the March of Dimes Downtown WalkAmerica efforts, and I look forward to working with the team captains and the volunteers to help the Downtown March of Dimes reach our goal of raising $1.2 million for Georgia's premature babies," said Boltacz.

Boltacz is Southeast Tax Controversy Services Practice Leader at Deloitte Tax LLP. Boltacz joined the firm with more than 20 years experience as a tax professional in both private industry and public accounting. A March of Dimes volunteer since 2004, Boltacz also leads Deloitte as a corporate sponsor for WalkAmerica.
