Under Hong's leadership, ServGate will continue building out its reach in APAC markets as the preferred unified threat management (UTM) solutions provider. A networking veteran in the region formerly with Nokia, Hong was previously ServGate's vice president of sales for China, driving the company's strong presence in the PRC market with strategic partnerships such as Ingram Micro and marquee customers including SINA.

Hong brings to ServGate over 15 years of experience in sales and management including positions at Nokia and Nomura Securities. More recently, Hong was Asia-Pacific vice president at Filanet/uRoam where he managed sales and business development throughout the APAC market. During his tenure, he successfully established Filanet/uRoam's sales and distribution channel in China, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan markets including expanding key distribution channels. Hong earned a masters degree in economics from the University of Tokyo.
