TeliaSonera Sweden Launches Major Customer Service Initiative

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, March 08, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- TeliaSonera Sweden is continuing to focus on improving its service to customers by forming a new Customer Service unit that will position TeliaSonera among the top service companies in Sweden. Customer Service will have 3,400 employees and will be the largest single unit within TeliaSonera Sweden. The new organization will start operating in April 2005.

The new Customer Service unit will be headed by Anders Gylder, currently Head of the Large Corporate Customers Segment at TeliaSonera Sweden. Anders Gylder will have complete responsibility for customer service, orders/deliveries and the customer support centers for all of TeliaSonera Sweden's business segments. In practice, the formation of the new unit means that all service initiatives will be focused on TeliaSonera's customers in Sweden.

"The establishment of the Customer Service unit represents a natural step in our efforts to create growth and increase our competitiveness," says Marie Ehrling, President of TeliaSonera Sweden. "The platform for all our operations is based on being highly accessible, keeping our promises to customers and delivering on time. Anders Gylder is the experienced manager we need for realizing the new unit's goals."

To meet the growing competition in the enterprise market and increase the efficiency of its operations, TeliaSonera Sweden is also merging its Business and Large Corporate Customers segment into a single unit for all corporate and business customers. Erik Heilborn, currently Head of the Business Segment, will head the new combined unit, which is expected to be in place by April 1, 2005.
