SAMPO HOUSING LOAN BANK ISSUES THE FIRST NORDIC JUMBO COVERED BOND
Sampo Housing Loan Bank plc, a member of Sampo Group, issues a EUR 1 billion covered bond issue to the international capital markets. The transaction follows the earlier announced transfer of a EUR 1.1 billion housing loan portfolio from Sampo Bank plc to its wholly-owned subsidiary Sampo Housing Loan Bank.
The issue was oversubscribed by more than five times. Sampo Housing Loan Bank will pay a fixed coupon of 2.5 per cent for the loan.
