OTTAWA, Oct. 18, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- BlueBear Networks International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:BLBR) announced today that it has entered into a joint development agreement with IMC Security Inc. (IMC) to productize 3D cameras specifically designed to reconstruct human faces in 3D.

Dr. Jasvinder Singh Obhi, President and CEO of BlueBear, stated: "This agreement will permit us to participate in the productization, testing, and commercial trials, giving us the comfort that the 3D camera (Authenticator) will meet the requirements of our law enforcement clients. It also gives us exclusive worldwide rights to distribute Authenticator to the law enforcement market. We intend to interface Authenticator with IDLE, our Integrated Digital Law Enforcement system permitting IDLE to enroll, authenticate or identify suspects and criminals with IDLE's integrated 2D and 3D face recognition software." IDLE is a search engine that searches and shares biometric and text data, simultaneously and securely in seconds, in secure distributed police and integrated justice databases.

Mark Kershey, President and CEO of IMC, stated, "It is always encouraging when the first client participates in the development of the Company's initial product. We developed Authenticator primarily with the desktop authentication market in mind to protect the edges of the network. It's encouraging to see that Authenticator will be used in other areas also to enroll, authenticate, and identify humans."
