Fortis's public offering on Disbank shares closed


Fortis announced today that it has acquired 14,239,572.90 additional shares or 3.9% of Disbank's capital at a bid price of YTL 4.42 (EUR 2.73) per (1000) share, for a total consideration of YTL 62.9 million (EUR 38.9 million). This previously announced public offering to minority shareholders took place in Turkey between 23 September and 10 October 2005.
 
This brings Fortis's stake in Disbank to 93.3%.
