A total of 57,400 new shares of Huhtamäki Oyj have been issued following conversions of stock options attached to the company's 2000 stock option plan. 36,600 shares were issued based on the 2000 A options, 20,000 based on 2000 B options and 800 based on 2000 C options. The corresponding increase in the company's share capital is EUR 195,160. The increase has been entered in the Finnish Trade Register on October 25, 2005. The company has requested Helsinki Exchanges to list the new shares for public trading beginning on October 26, 2005. In terms of shareholder rights, the new shares are identical to the company shares already traded on Helsinki Exchanges.
Following the increase company's registered share capital is EUR 352,945,744.80 and the number of shares outstanding is 103,807,572.
The A, B and C options attached to the company's 2000 stock option plan entitle to the subscription of a total of 3,600,000 new company shares. The annual subscription period is May 2 - October 31, with the program expiring on October 31, 2006.
