MEDIA ADVISORY, Dec. 14, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Delta Air Lines will initiate new nonstop service between Atlanta and Managua, Nicaragua and will celebrate the new service with remarks and activities at Gate E-12, at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, along with His Excellency, President of the Republic of Nicaragua, Enrique Bolanyos, at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, December 15.
The daily service between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Managua International Airport in Nicaragua is part of Delta's ongoing international expansion to popular global business and tourist destinations. By the middle of 2006, Delta will offer service to every country in Central America.
The Nicaraguan ambassador to the United States, Salvador Stadthagen, will also fly on the inaugural flight, which is scheduled to depart at 10:10 a.m.
