Huhtamaki has appointed Mr. Henk Koekoek as Executive Vice President to Asia-Oceania-Africa (AOA) region starting on January 9, 2006. Mr. Koekoek will replace Mr. Tony Combe, who will assume a new position outside the company. Mr. Koekoek has previously worked as Executive Vice President, European Flexibles, Films and Molded Fiber (FFF) at Huhtamaki, and will continue as a member of the Executive Committee.
Mr. Koekoek has been with Huhtamaki since 1973. His extensive industry and company experience, coupled with profound knowledge of packaging technologies, make him eminently qualified to take the AOA region further. In his new position, Henk Koekoek will be based in Sydney, Australia.
Mr. Walter Guenter, Division President Films, will assume responsibility for the European FFF division until further notice.
