XMPie Becomes First Worldwide Reseller of Adobe InDesign Server CS2

Advanced VDP Server uProduce Now Offered with Two Robust Composition Engines

NEW YORK, Jan. 24, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- XMPie(r) (www.xmpie.com) the leading software provider for dynamic publishing, announced today that it has entered an integration and reselling agreement for the worldwide distribution of Adobe(r) InDesign(r) Server CS2. XMPie is the first licensed worldwide reseller of InDesign Server, offering its fully integrated functionality within uProduce(tm), the production server of XMPie's flagship product, PersonalEffect(tm).

Built on the same code base as Adobe InDesign CS2, the award-winning professional design and layout program, InDesign Server CS2 brings high-end composition and graphics support to a server platform, allowing Adobe partners to introduce new levels of automation and design quality to editorial workflows, collateral creation, data-driven publishing and template-based Web publishing solutions.

"This latest enhancement of uProduce is another milestone in our efforts to offer a wide range of scalable solutions," said Eyal S. Goldwerger, CEO of XMPie. "Our strategic partnership with Adobe allows us to be the first to integrate and leverage the new InDesign Server and deliver immediate and palpable production value to our customers."

XMPie's integration of InDesign Server is part of the immediate release of its upgraded uProduce, featuring two key enhancements:

 1. Parallel print and proof processing: The new uProduce provides
ultimate scalability to customers in producing or proofing
concurrent documents, as well as flexibility in dedicating
hardware servers for optimized resource utilization (on any of
    1CPU, 2CPU, or 4CPU servers).

 2. Optimized composition technologies, for any document: Each
uProduce server now comes out of the box with two fully
optimized composition engines that offer customers the ultimate
tool for each type of variable document that does not compromise
    creativity or performance:

    (i) InDesign Server: With the new InDesign Server fully
integrated into uProduce, the user can enjoy the extensive
flexibility and creative power of Adobe InDesign to generate
uncompromising output streams, with significantly augmented
         scalability.

(ii) XLIM(tm): With XLIM (pronounced 'slim'), users harness the
power of XMPie's proprietary composition engine built for
high volume speed production of business documents created
         within InDesign.

"InDesign Server CS2 delivers the scalable performance and reliability that printers and publishers demand for sophisticated production environments," said Will Eisley, group product manager of Illustration and Layout Products at Adobe. "We're pleased XMPie has integrated InDesign Server into its powerful VDP solutions. Customers now have an even more robust offering from XMPie with desktop to server solutions, all based on Adobe InDesign."

According to Goldwerger, "This is part of our continuous effort to diversify our offerings to become the most inclusive software provider in the market. We set the bar higher for VDP. Ultimate creativity and ultimate performance is our new standard."
