Vaisala Oyj Stock Exchange Announcement 22.2.2006 at 10.00 1(1)
In the slot closed on January 31, 2006, a total of 293 164 Vaisala A-shares were subscribed for with the warrants granted in 2000 to the key personnel of Vaisala. As a result of the subscriptions the share capital of Vaisala was increased by 293 164 new A-shares, i.e., by EUR 123,275.23. The corresponding increase was registered in the Finnish Trade Register on February 22, 2006. As a result of the increase, the share capital of Vaisala is now EUR 7,660,807.87 and the total number of shares is 18,218,364.
An application will be made to admit the new shares as a separate share type for trading on the Helsinki Exchanges on February 23, 2006. The new shares will be combined with the old shares the day after the dividend record date on March 29, 2006. As stated in the warrant terms the new A-Shares do not entitle to a dividend for the financial year 2005. Otherwise the new shares are equal of their rights with the old A-Shares.
