TRONDHEIM, Norway, Feb. 24, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Powel has signed a contract as a sub contractor to Telenor Cinclus to supply software systems and services that will support their AMR -- project with E.on in Sweden. The delivery towards E.on is a partnership between Tieto Enator and Telenor, with Comsel systems, Eltel Networks and Powel as subcontractors. In this project, the meter collecting software system Powel Elin will be a part of Telenor Cinclus' platform. Powel will deliver software for data collecting and meter data validation for 140.000 E.on customers in Sweden.
The contract includes option for further expansion and use of Powel Elin as part of Cinclus-platform in other projects for Telenor Cinclus in the AMR-market.
