Pacific Sunwear Announces February Sales


ANAHEIM, Calif., Feb. 28, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Pacific Sunwear of California, Inc. (Nasdaq:PSUN) today reported that total sales for the four weeks of fiscal February ending February 25, 2006 were $89.0 million, an increase of 7.0 percent over total sales of $83.2 million during the same period last year. Total Company same store sales decreased 3.1 percent during the same period. By concept, PacSun same store sales decreased 4.0 percent and d.e.m.o. same store sales increased 0.8 percent compared to the same four week period last year.
