Component Changes Made to the Dow Jones Spain Select Dividend 20 Index

Changes Are the Result of the Regular Annual Review


NEW YORK, March 7, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, today announced changes in the composition of the Dow Jones Spain Select Dividend 20 Index.

Effective as of the opening of trading on Monday, March 20, 2006, the following four companies will be added to the Dow Jones Spain Select Dividend 20 Index: Telefonica Publicidad e Informacion S.A., Enagas S.A., Indra Sistemas S.A. and Iberia Lineas Aereas de Espana S.A.

Cementos Portland Valderrivas S.A., Compania Espanola de Petroleos S.A., Ebro Puleva S.A. and Inmobiliaria Colonial S.A will be removed from the index.

The dividend yield of the reconstituted Dow Jones Spain Select Dividend 20 Index will be 2.3% as a result of these changes.

The Dow Jones Spain Select Dividend 20 Index tracks the top 20 yielding stocks in Spain. The index components are derived from the Dow Jones Spain Total Market Index, a subset of the Dow Jones STOXX TMI.

The Dow Jones Spain Select Dividend 20 Index is reviewed on an annual basis in March. To be eligible for inclusion in the index, a component must have a positive, historical five-year dividend-per-share growth rate and a dividend-to-earnings-per-share ratio of less than or equal to 80% in the current year or be a previous component. The Dow Jones Spain Select Dividend 20 Index is calculated in USD and EUR. Price and total return series are available.
