Through its subsidiary, Kitron Microelectronics AS, Kitron has signed long term agreements to extend the cooperation with the Swedish company Kongsberg Automotive AB in Mullsjö, a subsidiary of Kongsberg Automotive Holding ASA. The agreements include industrialisation and production of electronic modules for gearshift systems with an estimated value of NOK 25 million over 5 years.

The cooperation between Kongsberg Automotive AB and Kitron Microelectronics AS also includes other products which Kitron Microelectronics AS is manufacturing for Kongsberg Automotive AB. The new agreements will double the annual production value of products for Kongsberg Automotive AB.
