The 750GB Barracuda ES is the industry's highest capacity drive, thereby allowing a RAID subsystem to support 50 percent more capacity compared to using the same number of 500GB drives. Optimized for reliability and power savings for storage-hungry applications, the Barracuda ES maximizes scalability in Infortrend's dynamic, high capacity RAID systems and is ideal for low cost-per-GB storage solutions for digital media files or in data protection schemes such as disk-to-disk and snapshot.
