SHREVEPORT, La., Aug. 29, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Respected Louisiana radio talk-show host Moon Griffon is scheduled today to interview maverick Republican Chester T. Kelley, whose campaign continues to pick up steam. The interview is scheduled for 10 AM CST.

"I heard the recent exchange between Moon and our governor, Kathleen Blanco, over the proposed toll-road issue. Moon handled the governor fairly and allowed Senator Vitter (David, Republican) to respond. It's that kind of exchange of ideas that Moon's show is good at. I hope after my call today, that Jim McCrery will join me on-air with Moon sometime soon," Chester added.
"The voters of Louisiana's 4th district deserve as much from their current congressman," concluded Mr. Kelley.
